Anti-bribery Policy

The University of Chittagong is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical value in all its operations and activities, and it expects everyone associated with the university to comply with this commitment.

As part of this commitment, the university has a strict anti-bribery policy in place to prevent any form of bribery or corruption. The policy applies to all employees and anyone else acting on behalf of the university. It prohibits the offering, giving, soliciting, or accepting of any bribe to or from any person or organisation, whether in the public or private sector.

The university has established procedures for reporting any suspected incident of bribery or corruption, and it encourages all members of the university community to report any concerns or suspicions regarding bribery or corruption they may have to the university authority. The contact person for the reporting is the Proctor of the University of Chittagong. The university will investigate all allegation or reports of suspected bribery or corruption and take appropriate action, including disciplinary action, where necessary. The University has also developed a Grievance Redress System (GRS) so that anyone aggrieved by any unethical practice may lodge a complaint to the appropriate authority of the university. The university promotes such policy in order to ensure fairness and institutional integrity.
