Biography
Dr. Alamgir Hossan currently holds the position of postdoctoral fellow within the microwave instrument science group (386G) at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).At NASA, His primary research focuses on the development of algorithms aimed at retrieving surface and subsurface liquid water profiles within polar ice sheets using multifrequency microwave radiometers.
He pursued a second MS and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the University of Central Florida (UCF).
Previously, Dr. Alamgir was an assistant professor of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Chittagong and an Adjunct faculty of Florida Polytechnic University.
