The University of Chittagong is proud to announce that Dr. Afroza Anwary, a distinguished alumna from our Sociology Department, has been honored with the 2024 Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award at Minnesota State University, Mankato, USA. This prestigious recognition is awarded annually to three exceptional tenured professors who excel in research and teaching. Serving in the Department of Sociology and Leadership Studies at Minnesota State University, Mankato, Dr. Anwary has earned acclaim for her innovative contributions and steadfast dedication to academic excellence. Her award highlights the significant impact that alumni of the University of Chittagong can have in the global academic community. We celebrate Dr. Anwary’s success and cherish her as a source of inspiration for both our faculty and students.
